Online Investigations - Legitimate or Malicious Intent?
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BEGIN
You will be given links to 31 emails and 1 text. Some of these emails are real with active links and others are screenshots.
(Don't assume that all screenshot images are the malicious emails or that all the emails with clickable links are safe to click!)
In each screenshot, a mouse-over reveals the real link in the lower left corner.
Your job is to look carefully at each and figure out if it is legitimate (REAL) or malicious (FAKE).
(Malicious means that the email is meant to deceive, steal account info, or infect a computer.)
If you decide that an email is malicious you must state WHY on your Answer Sheet!
